ULTRAVIOLET WARRIORS

In partnership with the LFA (Lupus Foundation of America), the Ultraviolet Warriors Organization brings together artful storytelling, social events, and seminars to champion and celebrate lupus survivors, along with their families and loved ones, to help foster deeper, more connected bonds throughout the community.

Known as an invisible illness, those fighting with lupus know all too well the struggles of not only dealing with chronic symptoms but also reduced support from their social network and even medical professionals. But just because it can’t be seen, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. That’s why we use art to express and visualize the battle that every lupus survivor endures every day.

All donations received directly benefit the admirable efforts and impact of the LFA.

WOLVES + BUTTERFLIES DOCUMENTARY

This is a mini docu-series that unpacks the complex realities of living with lupus, exposing the emotional journeys of not only lupus warriors themselves, but also their caregivers, loved ones, and friends advocating against the disease. Check back soon for more as we look to give a voice and visibility to those who have long felt isolated, marginalized, and misunderstood as a result of their struggle.

ULTRAVIOLET ART SHOW

The ULTRAVIOLET Art Show is a fundraiser showcasing unique and original work of local and national artists, whose creative contributions help secure funding for the Walk To End Lupus Now™. The goal for the promotion material was to infuse vibrancy and culture into the art as a way to communicate the beauty of advocacy while acknowledging the glaring issue of lupus affecting women of color. Purple, the official color of lupus awareness, is a principal color in all material.
